In ARK: Survival Ascended, Plesiosaur occupies the aquatic utility niche - is a versatile aquatic mount for underwater exploration and resource gathering. It is a carnivore tamed through knockout taming, with Superior Kibble as its top-tier food, and brings 800 base Weight, providing an enormous weight pool to the table. It gives live birth after a gestation period, with offspring maturing over an extremely long period, one of the longest in the game. Once tamed it harvests Hide, Raw Prime Meat more efficiently than most player tools. That combination of survivability and damage is why Plesiosaur sits on most endgame mount shortlists.
