Starve & Torpor Timers

The real-time timers below help you monitor Torpor drain and Food depletion during the tame. The torpor timer alerts you when narcotics are needed. The starve timer tracks Food depletion for starve-taming, where you let the food bar drop before placing all food at once.

The Paraceratherium, a tamable, herbivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended, is well-known across multiple maps. It belongs to the Soaker category.

At 1,026 base HP, the Paraceratherium is impressively tough. Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the Paraceratherium brings respectable melee power to the table. With 300 base Stamina, the Paraceratherium has moderate endurance. Weight capacity starts at 850, giving it excellent carrying capacity.

You'll need to knock the Paraceratherium unconscious before taming it. Tranquilizers are the standard approach. Superior Kibble is the most effective food for taming, offering the highest affinity per feeding.

As a tame, the Paraceratherium pulls double duty as both a capable resource harvester and pack animal. A wild Paraceratherium is worth 12 base experience when killed. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.66 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
