Its base Melee Damage sits at 100%, giving it solid damage output. Starting at 90 Health, it's extremely fragile. Stamina sits at 100 base, providing tires quickly. A base Weight of 90 means minimal inventory space.
This is a passive tame: no tranquilizers needed. Get close without startling it, then offer food from your last hotbar slot. Its preferred food is Rare Flower.
As a tame, the Lystrosaurus earns its keep through resource gathering, making tedious farming runs much faster. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a 24°C–28°C temperature window. Defeating one in the wild grants 0.5 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.33 Element plus 0 Element per level.
