Ice Wyvern
Calculate expected resource yield per node for any dino. Select a node type and harvester.
Each hit on a node generates resource drops. The game randomly picks a resource from the loot table for each drop. Higher melee depletes the node faster, which can reduce total drops. The "best" melee is where you get the most drops.
Compare dino harvest yields from creature corpses. Select a corpse and up to 3 harvesters to compare.
Each hit on a corpse generates resource drops based on damage dealt. The game randomly picks a resource from the corpse's loot table for each drop. Higher melee depletes the corpse faster, which can reduce total drops. All dinos get the same resource distribution from a given corpse - the difference is total drops from base damage.
The Ice Wyvern is a tamable, flying, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It falls within the Flyer classification.
Starting at 1,295 Health, it's among the tougher creatures. Melee starts at 100% - solid damage output that scales with level-ups. With 315 base Stamina, the Ice Wyvern has average stamina. Weight capacity starts at 400, giving it generous inventory space.
The Ice Wyvern is a knockout tame: apply enough torpor to knock it out, then place food in its inventory. Feed it Kibble (Argentavis Egg) for the fastest tame and highest effectiveness bonus.
After taming, the Ice Wyvern works well as a reconnaissance mount, offering fast travel and a bird's-eye view of the terrain. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a 80°C–90°C temperature window. Killing a wild Ice Wyvern yields 120 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.82 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
