In ARK: Survival Ascended, Dimetrodon occupies the harvester niche - is primarily used for resource harvesting, excelling at gathering specific materials. It is a carnivore tamed through knockout taming, with Regular Kibble as its top-tier food, and brings 100% base Melee Damage, giving it decent hitting power to the table. Breeding pairs lay fertilized eggs requiring 30°C–34°C incubation, after which juveniles reach adulthood slowly. Survivors lean on it to gather Hide, Raw Meat, Raw Prime Meat at much higher rates than hand tools. Players target Dimetrodon once they need a reliable workhorse beyond the starter mounts.
