Coelacanth Overview

Survivors looking at Coelacanth in ARK: Survival Ascended will find an aquatic carnivore that roams the ARK as a wild, untamable creature. Untamable in the traditional sense, Coelacanth fields 100% base Melee Damage, giving it respectable melee power when survivors meet it in the wild. Reproduction is by live birth following gestation; juveniles mature over an extremely long period, one of the longest in the game. Its harvest profile centers on Raw Fish Meat, making farming runs noticeably faster. Treat encounters with situational awareness rather than taming intent.
