Command options include Summon (random level, at crosshair), SpawnDino (precise coords and level), and GMSummon (force-tamed at specified level). GMSummon is the most convenient for getting a tamed Archaeopteryx immediately. Open the admin console with Tab (PC) or through the pause menu on console. Admin privileges are required.
The Archaeopteryx, a tamable, unknown creature in ARK: Survival Ascended, is a common sight across multiple maps. It falls within the Shoulder Pet classification.
With 150 base Stamina, the Archaeopteryx has moderate endurance. Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the Archaeopteryx brings respectable melee power to the table. At 125 base HP, the Archaeopteryx is extremely fragile. Weight capacity starts at 30, giving it not built for hauling.
You'll need to knock the Archaeopteryx unconscious before taming it. Tranquilizers are the standard approach. Feed it Simple Kibble for the fastest tame and highest effectiveness bonus.
Once tamed, the Archaeopteryx is primarily used for resource harvesting, excelling at gathering specific materials. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 16°C and 20°C. Killing a wild Archaeopteryx yields 0.5 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.13 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
