ARK: Survival Ascended features the Araneo as a tamable, carnivore creature that survivors will encounter in the wild. It falls within the Misc classification.
Stamina sits at 100 base, providing limited endurance. Its base Melee Damage sits at 100%, giving it respectable melee power. With 150 base Health, the Araneo is not particularly tanky. It carries 100 base Weight - average weight tolerance.
The Araneo is passively tamed - approach it carefully and feed it by hand without knocking it out. Its preferred food is Spoiled Meat.
Once tamed, the Araneo is primarily used for resource harvesting, excelling at gathering specific materials. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a 4°C–12°C temperature window. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.04 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
The spawn command tool lets you create console commands for spawning a Araneo with your desired settings. Multiple variants are available - use the selector to pick the version you want.
Command options include Summon (random level, at crosshair), SpawnDino (precise coords and level), and GMSummon (force-tamed at specified level). For a ready-to-ride Araneo, GMSummon is the way to go. Open the admin console with Tab (PC) or through the pause menu on console. Admin privileges are required.
