Alpha Raptor
After hatching or birth, the baby Alpha Raptor matures requiring significant patience, reaching adulthood in about 1 day and 13 hours at 1x maturation. The most labor-intensive part is the baby phase (0–10% maturation) when it can't use a Feeding Trough yet.
Offspring inherit parental stats and have a small chance to mutate, gaining +2 levels in a random stat. Use the breeding calculator to plan food requirements, incubation timers, and maturation phases.

Use the raising calculator to plan food requirements for raising Alpha Raptor babies through all three growth stages. The Baby phase (0–10%) takes ~222 minutes and is the most hands-on, requiring direct feeding or a Maewing.
The multiplier feature helps plan large-scale Alpha Raptor raises by totaling food across all babies. Consider food spoilage when choosing what to feed: Kibble lasts days, while Raw Meat spoils in minutes.

During the Baby phase (0-10%), you must hand-feed or use a Maewing to nurse. From Juvenile (10%+), dinos can eat from a Feeding Trough on their own. Use Preserving Salt in troughs to double spoil times.
Raising a baby Alpha Raptor involves three maturation phases: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~222 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~15h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~19h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.
Imprinting during maturation provides permanent stat bonuses. At 100% imprint, the Alpha Raptor gains 30% bonus damage and resistance when ridden by the imprinter. You'll be asked to cuddle, walk, or feed specific kibble at regular intervals during maturation.
ARK: Survival Ascended features the Alpha Raptor as a carnivore creature that survivors will encounter in the wild. Classified under the Variant group.
At 3,600 base HP, the Alpha Raptor is an absolute bullet sponge. Its base Melee Damage sits at 100%, giving it solid damage output. Stamina sits at 150 base, providing decent staying power. It carries 140 base Weight - a reasonable inventory size.
The Alpha Raptor cannot be tamed and must be dealt with through combat or avoidance. Killing a wild Alpha Raptor yields 265 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.23 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
