An Aureliax never eats and never lands, so bring something fast to reach it and a Parachute for the way down. Send any shoulder pet away before you mount it. Mount it and it asks for one specific item at a time, and takes only that. The table below is the list it draws from. Filling the bar does not hand you an Aureliax: it turns into an egg that drops to the ground, and you then have to defend that egg from waves of Neophytes.

- It never eats. It asks for one specific thing from a list of 29, takes only that, and asks for something else next. Carry a spread rather than a stack of one item.
- 5 of them are only accepted above a minimum crafted quality, so a Primitive one will be refused.
- Filling the bar does not give you an Aureliax. It settles down and leaves a fertilized egg behind, so what you take home is something to raise rather than a grown creature.
- You have to be up on it to hand anything over. A gift offered from the ground is refused no matter how close you stand.
