Development roadmap
The official Winds of Valen development roadmap, as posted by the developers on Discord. Plans can change, so treat it as a guide, not a promise. Click an image to open it full size.

Planned updates (from the game files)
These entries come from the roadmap screen inside the game. They are planned, not promised. Updates may be changed, delayed or brought forward, some updates are required for others (for example Friends before Guilds), and some smaller features may not be listed. The order shown here is our own grouping, not the in-game order.
• Friends list • Cross server whispering
• Form a Party for a session • See party members health on HUD • See party members location on map • Cross server party chat • XP/Loot mechanics stay the same
• Join or start a guild • Cross server guild chat
• Efficiently buy and sell items across servers and while offline.
• Unlockable portals at towns and settlements • Can move between any unlocked portals
• Members will be able to vote on which update is next from a curated set of options. • Updates that lose can still happen in the future. • For fairness similar scoped updates will be polled together. • Not every update will be polled.
