The Ebony Caves
The Ebony Caves are a maze of rooms deep inside the caverns, and the only place to mine Ebony Dust. Every tunnel between two rooms is shut by a passage you have to mine through before you can go on. The caves reset every 10 minutes, and players report that if you die you lose about half of the ore you mined, so plan your route before you go in.
Dangers
As the time runs down, sections of the caves start to collapse, one room at a time and in a random order. A collapsing room drops stalactites. They hurt a lot and can kill you, though a defence shield can soak up some of the damage. When the 10 minute timer runs out you faint and die automatically, so leave in time.
What to bring
You are racing the 10 minute timer, so bring what lets you mine fast and stay alive. Take your best pickaxe and any Mining boosts, plus health potions and a shield for the stalactites. The tables below are read live from the item data.
Pickaxes and Mining boosts
A better pickaxe breaks rocks faster. Gloves, boots, gems and Mining potions add to your Mining on top of it. Items marked Members need a membership.

Staying alive
A shield can soak up some of a stalactite's damage, and Strong Health Potions heal you back up. Shields are listed strongest first.
