The Диморфодон, a tamable, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended, is a common sight across multiple maps. Classified under the Shoulder Pet group.

Stamina sits at 150 base, providing moderate endurance. With 100% base Melee Damage, the Диморфодон has decent hitting power. Health-wise, the Диморфодон sits at 125 base, making it glass-cannon fragile. Weight capacity starts at 50, giving it minimal inventory space.

You'll need to knock the Диморфодон unconscious before taming it. Tranquilizers are the standard approach. For best results, use Raw Mutton - it gives the highest taming efficiency.

Once tamed, the Диморфодон is primarily used for resource harvesting, excelling at gathering specific materials. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 35°C and 38°C. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.28 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
