The Аранео is a knockout tame - render it unconscious with torpor weapons like Tranq Arrows or Shocking Tranq Darts, then feed it while it's down. Torpor bleeds at 0.1/s, requiring regular sedative application to prevent a premature wakeup.
Use the knockout chart to see exactly how many Tranq Arrows, Darts, or other torpor weapons it takes to down the Аранео. Space your shots to let torpor accumulate - rapid firing risks killing it before knockout.
