As Stardust's influence over Nalcott continues to grow, some trees have mutated and developed humanlike features. Though weak in direct combat, they are masters of disguise. They use Stardust to create hallucinations that distort their prey's sight and hearing, eventually turning their victims into more of their own kind.
A Morphic Tree normally looks identical to the trees around it. Only when cut down does it reveal its true form, complete with cable-like "branches" and a "human face."
Find and destroy the real Morphic Tree quickly. Otherwise, you will become lost in its grove forever - and eventually join it.
