Burrowers are big non-human entities measuring 9 to 10 meters at full length. They resemble a cross between a lizard and an ape.
Their heads are huge drills used for mining, and they have supremely muscular upper bodies which they support with their arms when crawling. Waist down, their bodies are a mass of twisted cables that look similar to a thick, long tail.
Burrowers move easily in the ground, swimming through the earth and rocks like elite human swimmers in water. They are sensitive to vibrations in the earth and burst out of the ground from under their enemy's feet to attack.
