Palaeoctopus Temmingscalculator
A Palaeoctopus can only be tamed while it sits camouflaged on the seabed. Clear every predator in the area first, then let it grab you. While held, feed it Narcotics or Bio Toxin exactly when it pulls you back and calls out. Each well-timed feed adds around 800 Torpidity, while a mistimed one costs you health. Low levels fall unconscious around 4,000 Torpidity and high levels need up to 15,000. The grip drains your oxygen and health the whole time, so bring SCUBA gear, Lazarus Chowder, and at least 500 health. Once it collapses, feed it Black Pearls or meat like any other knockout tame.
Knock de Palaeoctopus met je favoriete torporwapen buiten westen, en voer het daarna voedsel aan om het tamingproces te starten. Torpor verloopt met 0,1/s, dus je moet regelmatig kalmerende middelen toepassen om te voorkomen dat het te vroeg wakker wordt.

Benodigde verdovingsmiddelen
Gebruik de narcoticuscalculator om precies te bepalen hoeveel Narcotics, Bio Toxin of Narcoberries je nodig hebt voor de Palaeoctopus. Je opties zijn Narcotics (40 Torpor), Bio Toxin (80 Torpor, beste efficiëntie), of Narcoberries (7,5 Torpor, goedkoopst maar het traagst). Aangezien Torpor afneemt met 0,1/s, wacht niet tot de balk bijna leeg is voordat je narcoticus toepast.
Verhongering & Verdovings Timers
Volg het tamproces met de timers hieronder - ze volgen zowel Torpor als de honger voortgang. Torpor volgen voorkomt te vroeg wakker worden. De hongertimer is voor de hongermethode - laat Food vallen, dan laad je alle kibble tegelijk om verspilling te voorkomen.
