Find a troop and pick out the alpha, the highest level one with a glowing yellow-orange aura on its back. Kill every other baboon in the troop, juveniles included, then bring the alpha below the health it will accept food at and feed it by hand. Exceptional Kibble or better is worth the trouble here: berries and crops work but turn this into a very long fight.

- Kill the rest of its troop until only one is left, then bring that survivor below 85% health. There is no fixed troop size: it is however many spawned together.
- Once it accepts you the window stays open. Healing back up does not close it again, so you only have to hit that health mark once.
