Afwijkende Oviraptor Abilities

Found throughout the ARKs, the Afwijkende Oviraptor is a tamable, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. Classified under the Variant group.

Dealing 106% base Melee Damage, the Afwijkende Oviraptor brings respectable melee power to the table. At 134 base HP, the Afwijkende Oviraptor is glass-cannon fragile. Its base Stamina of 120 gives it tires quickly. Weight capacity starts at 100, giving it average weight tolerance.

You'll need to knock the Afwijkende Oviraptor unconscious before taming it. Tranquilizers are the standard approach. For best results, use Extraordinary Dinosaur Egg - it gives the highest taming efficiency.

Once tamed, the Afwijkende Oviraptor earns its keep through resource gathering, making tedious farming runs much faster. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 26°C and 30°C. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.6 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
