이 유기체 구조물은 동굴 벽에 붙은 채로 자랍니다. 외피에서 발달하는 보라색 주머니에는 포자와 함께 밀도가 낮은 젤이 포함되어 있습니다. 이 주머니는 때때로 터지기도 하는데, 이럴 경우 포자가 포함된 젤은 수면 위로 떠다니다가 가장 먼저 마주한 바위에 달라붙습니다. 젤주머니는 식용으로 사용할 수도 있지만, 이것의 낮은 밀도를 통해 가치 있는 고급 건축 자재로 사용할 수도 있습니다. 평가: 식용이나 에어로젤 제작에 사용될 수 있습니다.
