改造ステーションTech/Habitats
標準的なファブリケーターは素材を原子的に再配列し複雑なデバイスを構成するが、改造ステーションはデバイスを組み合わせ機能を強化する。エンジニアがその場でツールを調整するために、大抵の産業大型船は改造ステーションを装備として備えている。 ハードドライブのスペースを確保するために、改造ステーションは個人用緊急設計図ライブラリーの初期設定から除外されている。しかしながら海や砂漠など極限環境を有する惑星では、予期せぬ用途のため基本的なサバイバル道具の適応が必要となる可能性がある。このため、常に改造ステーションへアクセスすることが推奨される。
