小さな群れで暮らす力強い捕食者で、狩場を強力に防衛する。 1.厚い装甲の外骨格: 大型捕食者か同種の攻撃に対する防御的な適応と考えられる。サンドシャークの節のある外骨格と類似性があり、比較的最近に共通祖先から分岐したことが推測される。 2.大きい眼球: 光感度が高く、発光性の獲物を低照度環境で狩るためと考えられる。 一般的にエネルギーを節約し動きや反応は鈍いが、縄張りを侵したものに対しては、いかなる脅威でも妥協しない攻撃をしかける。 評価: 回避が必要。光源によって注意をそらせる可能性がある
