The モササウルス, a tamable, aquatic, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended, is well-known across multiple maps. It belongs to the Water category.

With 400 base Stamina, the モササウルス has respectable staying power. Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the モササウルス brings decent hitting power to the table. At 3,600 base HP, the モササウルス is an absolute bullet sponge. A base Weight of 1300 means an enormous weight pool.

You'll need to knock the モササウルス unconscious before taming it. Tranquilizers are the standard approach. For best results, use Exceptional Kibble - it gives the highest taming efficiency.

As a tame, the モササウルス is well-suited for deep-sea exploration, cave diving, and ocean resource runs. Breeding is via live birth rather than eggs, simplifying the process. Defeating one in the wild grants 15 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.88 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
