The イクチオルニス is a tamable, flying, piscivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It belongs to the Shoulder Pet category.

Melee starts at 100% - decent hitting power that scales with level-ups. Starting at 50 Health, it's very frail. Stamina sits at 150 base, providing average stamina. Weight capacity starts at 55, giving it very limited carrying capacity.

The イクチオルニス is a knockout tame: apply enough torpor to knock it out, then place food in its inventory. Feed it Regular Kibble for the fastest tame and highest effectiveness bonus.

Once tamed, the イクチオルニス works well as a reconnaissance mount, offering fast travel and a bird's-eye view of the terrain. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a 29°C–32°C temperature window. A wild イクチオルニス is worth 3 base experience when killed. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.3 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
