The コンプソグナトゥス is a tamable, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It falls within the Shoulder Pet classification.

The コンプソグナトゥス has 50 base Health - glass-cannon fragile. Melee starts at 100% - solid damage output that scales with level-ups. With 100 base Stamina, the コンプソグナトゥス has tires quickly. A base Weight of 25 means very limited carrying capacity.

The コンプソグナトゥス is a knockout tame: apply enough torpor to knock it out, then place food in its inventory. Raw Mutton is the most effective food for taming, offering the highest affinity per feeding.

After taming, the コンプソグナトゥス earns its keep through resource gathering, making tedious farming runs much faster. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a 24°C–32°C temperature window. Killing a wild コンプソグナトゥス yields 0.5 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.07 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
