You'll need to knock the アンコウ unconscious before taming it. Tranquilizers are the standard approach. Feed it Regular Kibble for the fastest tame and highest effectiveness bonus.
After taming, the アンコウ is a versatile aquatic mount for underwater exploration and resource gathering. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between -75°C and 75°C. Defeating one in the wild grants 8 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.17 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
