Overview
The Yutyrannus is a carnivorous support creature. It emits a powerful Fear roar that debuffs nearby enemies while boosting the morale of its allies with Courage. This makes it ideal for frontline combat support during raids or boss fights. It can be airlifted by Tusoteuthis for rapid deployment into battle zones.
Spawn Locations
22 mapsYutyrannus spawns in mountainous and snowy biomes, including caves, dark zones, desert mountains, snow grasslands, and wastelands. It is uncommon and appears across 22 ARK maps. Look for red zones on the spawn map to locate areas with higher spawn density.

Tame Yutyrannus using the knockout method. Use a Yutyrannus to immobilize it with a Chain Bola or trap it in a Bear Trap or Large Bear Trap. Sedate it with Tranq Arrows from a Bow or Crossbow, or use a Fabricated Sniper Rifle with Tranquilizer Darts. Feed it Raw Prime Meat or Extraordinary Kibble for faster taming. The Fear roar affects large dinosaurs within 35 meters, applying a debuff that lasts 20 seconds. The Courage aura boosts allies in a 35-meter radius, improving combat performance.
