Yutyrannus Taming Calculator

The Yutyrannus is a knockout tame - render it unconscious with torpor weapons like Tranq Arrows or Shocking Tranq Darts, then feed it while it's down. The Yutyrannus loses Torpor at 0.73 per second while unconscious - stay on top of narcotics.

Required Narcotics

Use the narcotic calculator to determine exactly how many Narcotics, Bio Toxin, or Narcoberries you need for the Yutyrannus. Narcotics provide 40 Torpor each and are the standard choice. Bio Toxin offers 80 Torpor but is harder to farm. Narcoberries at 7.5 each are a last resort. At 0.73 Torpor drain per second, apply narcotics proactively - a wakeup mid-tame wastes everything.

Starve & Torpor Timers

Track the taming process with the timers below - they monitor both Torpor and starvation progress. The torpor timer alerts you when narcotics are needed. The starve timer tracks Food depletion for starve-taming, where you let the food bar drop before placing all food at once.
