X-Rock Elemental

Variant

Overview

The X-Rock Elemental is a large, mineral-diet variant creature known for its exceptional resource-gathering capabilities while ridden. It reduces the weight of gathered resources significantly, making it ideal for long-haul mining expeditions. It can be airlifted by Quetzal or Karkinos for fast deployment.

This mount excels at harvesting Crystal, Metal, and Sulfur, with each attack yielding up to 9× the standard amount. Players typically tame it to streamline large-scale element and ore collection in resource-intensive areas.

Taming the X-Rock Elemental requires knockout using ranged weapons. The most effective food is Sulfur, which grants the highest affinity. Clay can be used as a fallback if Sulfur is unavailable, though it is significantly slower.

Use a Bow, Crossbow, or Compound Bow with Tranq Arrows to sedate it. The process takes around 503 minutes and requires approximately 407 Narcotics. Use the calculator below for your settings.
