Overview
VR Raptor is a small carnivore variant known for its heightened vulnerability to certain damage types. It can be carried by larger creatures for rapid transport and deployment. This dino is typically tamed for its unique stat distribution and role in experimental gameplay scenarios.
It can be airlifted by Argentavis, Desmodus, Karkinos, Megalosaurus, Kaprosuchus, Quetzal, or Tusoteuthis for fast deployment.
Spawn Locations
VR Raptor does not currently spawn on any ARK: Survival Ascended map, or spawn data is not yet available.
VR Raptor must be knocked out before taming. The best food is Simple Kibble, which provides the fastest taming time. Raw Mutton also works, though it is significantly slower.
Use Tranq Arrows from a Bow, Crossbow, or Compound Bow to sedate it. Bolas and Bear Traps are effective immobilizers. Around 10 minutes are needed with optimal settings. Use the calculator below for your settings.

Damage Resistances
VR Raptor takes +120% damage from Instant HurtDinos, making it highly vulnerable to instant damage sources. It is immune to damage from Mining Drill Harvest. Melee attacks from metal weapons deal +55% damage to it, making Metal Dinos especially dangerous. Avoid using it in high-damage zones.
