Ravager
Instead of laying eggs, the Ravager carries its young through a gestation period. Gestation takes approximately 4 hours and 12 minutes at default rates.
After hatching or birth, the baby Ravager matures slowly, reaching adulthood in about 2 days at 1x maturation. Hand-feeding is required until 10% maturation. After that, a Feeding Trough handles the rest.
Mutations can add +2 levels to any stat and change colors. Stacking mutations across generations is the key to min-maxed breeding lines. Use the breeding calculator to plan food requirements, incubation timers, and maturation phases.
Maturation has three phases: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~292 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~19h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~24h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.
Imprint bonuses are significant: a fully imprinted Ravager gains 30% extra damage and damage resistance with its imprinter mounted. You'll be asked to cuddle, walk, or feed specific kibble at regular intervals during maturation.

Planning a mass raise? The Ravager raising calculator breaks down food needs per phase so nothing goes to waste. The Baby phase (0–10%) takes ~292 minutes and is the most hands-on, requiring direct feeding or a Maewing.
Raising multiple Ravager simultaneously? Set the dino count and the calculator scales food requirements automatically. Match your food choice to your play schedule - longer spoil timers mean less babysitting.

During the Baby phase (0-10%), you must hand-feed or use a Maewing to nurse. From Juvenile (10%+), dinos can eat from a Feeding Trough on their own. Use Preserving Salt in troughs to double spoil times.
The Ravager is a tamable, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It belongs to the Climber category.
With 400 base Health, the Ravager is reasonably durable. Melee starts at 100% - respectable melee power that scales with level-ups. Its base Stamina of 350 gives it good endurance. Weight capacity starts at 500, giving it an enormous weight pool.
The Ravager is a knockout tame: apply enough torpor to knock it out, then place food in its inventory. Feed it Raw Mutton for the fastest tame and highest effectiveness bonus.
Once tamed, the Ravager is primarily used for resource harvesting, excelling at gathering specific materials. It gives live birth after a gestation period, making breeding straightforward. Defeating one in the wild grants 6 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.25 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
