R-Equus Overview
In ARK: Survival Ascended, R-Equus occupies the harvester niche - earns its keep through resource gathering, making tedious farming runs much faster. As a herbivore, it responds to passive taming - favoring Rockarrot - and ships with 560 base Stamina with respectable staying power. Reproduction is by live birth following gestation; juveniles mature over a lengthy period. Survivors lean on it to gather Hide, Raw Meat, Pelt at much higher rates than hand tools. It earns its place in the stable for survivors looking to graduate from early-game tames.

Harvesting a dead R-Equus yields Hide, Raw Meat, Pelt. The corpse has 320 harvest health, allowing multiple hits before it's fully depleted.
Different tools yield different quantities - check the table below to pick the right tool for the resource you need. Generally, a Pick favors meat while a Hatchet favors hide and secondary materials.
