Planning a mass raise? The Party Dodo raising calculator breaks down food needs per phase so nothing goes to waste. Expect ~93 minutes of active care during the Baby phase before it graduates to trough-feeding as a Juvenile.
Adjust the dino count to calculate food for multiple Party Dodo babies at once - essential for batch breeding operations. Match your food choice to your play schedule - longer spoil timers mean less babysitting.

During the Baby phase (0-10%), you must hand-feed or use a Maewing to nurse. From Juvenile (10%+), dinos can eat from a Feeding Trough on their own. Use Preserving Salt in troughs to double spoil times.
The Party Dodo reproduces by laying fertilized eggs after mating. Incubation temperature must stay between 22°C and 30°C - use Air Conditioners, Standing Torches, or Dimetrodons to maintain the range. At the correct temperature, the egg hatches in approximately 49 minutes.
The baby Party Dodo takes approximately 15 hours and 25 minutes to fully mature at default rates - at a medium pace. During the baby phase (0–10%), hand-feed it directly. From 10% onward (juvenile), it can eat from a Feeding Trough.
Mutations can add +2 levels to any stat and change colors. Stacking mutations across generations is the key to min-maxed breeding lines. Use the breeding calculator to plan food requirements, incubation timers, and maturation phases.
The Party Dodo's growth progresses through three stages: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~93 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~6h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~8h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.
Imprint bonuses are significant: a fully imprinted Party Dodo gains 30% extra damage and damage resistance with its imprinter mounted. Imprint requests include cuddling, walks, and specific kibble - check the wiki for which kibble to stockpile.
ARK: Survival Ascended features the Party Dodo as a herbivore creature that survivors will encounter in the wild. It belongs to the Ignore category.
With 40 base Health, the Party Dodo is very frail. Its base Melee Damage sits at 100%, giving it respectable melee power. With 100 base Stamina, the Party Dodo has low stamina reserves. A base Weight of 50 means very limited carrying capacity.
The Party Dodo roams the ARK as a wild, untamable creature. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a 22°C–30°C temperature window. Defeating one in the wild grants 0.5 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.01 Element plus 0 Element per level.
