Overview

The Microraptor is a small carnivorous flyer tamed as a shoulder pet. It provides a significant inventory weight reduction for certain resources, making it valuable for resource transport efficiency. Players typically tame it to pair with flying mounts for optimized cargo runs.

It can be airlifted by Quetzal or Karkinos for fast deployment.

Spawn Locations

Mod Maps

Microraptors require knockout taming. Use a Bola, Bear Trap, or Plant Species Y to immobilize it first. Then sedate it with Tranq Arrows from a Bow or Crossbow, or use a Longneck Rifle with Tranquilizer Darts.

Feed it Rare Flower for the fastest taming. Rare Mushroom also works well. The process takes about 3 minutes with 5 Rare Flowers and no Narcotics needed. Use the calculator below for your settings.
