Megapithecus Guardian Overview

Megapithecus Guardian is a boss-tier creature in ARK: Survival Ascended, fought in a dedicated arena and one of the toughest endgame challenges in the game. Megapithecus Guardian cannot be tamed through normal means and engages survivors with 200,000 base Health - one of the toughest creatures in the game. Reproduction is by live birth following gestation; juveniles mature at a glacially slow pace - plan for a multi-day commitment. Once tamed it harvests Pelt, Raw Meat, Raw Prime Meat more efficiently than most player tools. Defeating it stands as a tribe-wide accomplishment and a step toward tek-tier rewards.

Harvesting a dead Megapithecus Guardian yields Pelt, Raw Meat, Raw Prime Meat. The corpse has 5,000 harvest health, allowing multiple hits before it's fully depleted.
