Megalania is a land-based carnivore in ARK: Survival Ascended, is primarily used for resource harvesting, excelling at gathering specific materials. As a carnivore, it responds to knockout taming - favoring Extraordinary Kibble - and ships with 400 base Weight, providing good carrying capacity. Breeding pairs lay fertilized eggs requiring 29°C–35°C incubation, after which juveniles reach adulthood slowly. Once tamed it harvests Hide, Raw Meat more efficiently than most player tools.
