Mega Mek

DMG

Overview

The Mega Mek is a massive, mechanical carnivore designed for heavy combat and structural destruction. It excels at dismantling Tek-level structures with its powerful Laser Beam attack, making it a top choice for raiding high-tier bases. Its immense Weight capacity allows it to carry vast amounts of loot, ideal for post-raid extraction and long-range deployments.

It can be immobilized using a Bear Trap, Large Bear Trap, or Plant Species Y during taming.

Spawn Locations

Mega Mek does not currently spawn on any ARK: Survival Ascended map, or spawn data is not yet available.

Taming the Mega Mek requires a knockout method. Use a Bow, Crossbow, or Compound Bow with Tranq Arrows, or a Longneck Rifle with Tranquilizer Darts to sedate it. Element Dust is the best food for taming, providing the highest affinity.

The process takes around 1,666,667 minutes. Use the calculator below for your settings.
