The Mantis is passively tamed - approach it carefully and feed it by hand without knocking it out. Its preferred food is Deathworm Horn.

Once tamed, the Mantis is valued for its harvesting efficiency, collecting key resources faster than most tools. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a 35°C–38°C temperature window. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.79 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
