Magmasaur Overview
Magmasaur is a land-based omnivore in ARK: Survival Ascended, is a practical workhorse - it can both gather and haul resources efficiently. Tamed via a special taming method (Raw Prime Fish Meat is the optimal food), this omnivore enters service with 3,000 base Health - one of the toughest creatures in the game. It reproduces by laying fertilized eggs that incubate between 90°C and 110°C, with babies maturing at a glacially slow pace - plan for a multi-day commitment. Survivors lean on it to gather Hide, Raw Prime Meat, Sulfur at much higher rates than hand tools. Players who invest in one tend to keep it long after the early game has been left behind.
