The Macrophage reproduces by laying fertilized eggs after mating. Incubation temperature must stay between 35°C and 38°C - use Air Conditioners, Standing Torches, or Dimetrodons to maintain the range. At the correct temperature, the egg hatches in approximately 1 hour and 21 minutes.
The baby Macrophage takes approximately 1 day and 1 hour to fully mature at default rates - requiring significant patience. During the baby phase (0–10%), hand-feed it directly. From 10% onward (juvenile), it can eat from a Feeding Trough.
Mutations can add +2 levels to any stat and change colors. Stacking mutations across generations is the key to min-maxed breeding lines. Use the breeding calculator to plan food requirements, incubation timers, and maturation phases.
Raising a baby Macrophage involves three maturation phases: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~150 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~10h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~13h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.
Imprinting during maturation provides permanent stat bonuses. At 100% imprint, the Macrophage gains 30% bonus damage and resistance when ridden by the imprinter. You'll be asked to cuddle, walk, or feed specific kibble at regular intervals during maturation.

Planning a mass raise? The Macrophage raising calculator breaks down food needs per phase so nothing goes to waste. Expect ~150 minutes of active care during the Baby phase before it graduates to trough-feeding as a Juvenile.
Adjust the dino count to calculate food for multiple Macrophage babies at once - essential for batch breeding operations. Match your food choice to your play schedule - longer spoil timers mean less babysitting.

During the Baby phase (0-10%), you must hand-feed or use a Maewing to nurse. From Juvenile (10%+), dinos can eat from a Feeding Trough on their own. Use Preserving Salt in troughs to double spoil times.
The Macrophage, a carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended, is well-known across multiple maps. It belongs to the Ignore category.
With 100 base Stamina, the Macrophage has tires quickly. Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the Macrophage brings solid damage output to the table. With 500 base Health, the Macrophage is moderately tough. Weight capacity starts at 100, giving it a reasonable inventory size.
The Macrophage cannot be tamed and must be dealt with through combat or avoidance. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 35°C and 38°C. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.28 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
