Use the raising calculator to plan food requirements for raising Lightning Dimorphodon babies through all three growth stages. Budget ~150 minutes for the Baby phase - this is when hand-feeding or Maewing nursing is mandatory.
Adjust the dino count to calculate food for multiple Lightning Dimorphodon babies at once - essential for batch breeding operations. Consider food spoilage when choosing what to feed: Kibble lasts days, while Raw Meat spoils in minutes.

During the Baby phase (0-10%), you must hand-feed or use a Maewing to nurse. From Juvenile (10%+), dinos can eat from a Feeding Trough on their own. Use Preserving Salt in troughs to double spoil times.
The Lightning Dimorphodon reproduces by laying fertilized eggs after mating. Incubation temperature must stay between 35°C and 38°C - use Air Conditioners, Standing Torches, or Dimetrodons to maintain the range. At the correct temperature, the egg hatches in approximately 1 hour and 21 minutes.
Full maturation from baby to adult takes ~1 day and 1 hour (1x rate), progressing requiring significant patience. During the baby phase (0–10%), hand-feed it directly. From 10% onward (juvenile), it can eat from a Feeding Trough.
Offspring inherit parental stats and have a small chance to mutate, gaining +2 levels in a random stat. Use the breeding calculator to plan food requirements, incubation timers, and maturation phases.
Raising a baby Lightning Dimorphodon involves three maturation phases: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~150 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~10h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~13h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.
Imprinting during maturation provides permanent stat bonuses. At 100% imprint, the Lightning Dimorphodon gains 30% bonus damage and resistance when ridden by the imprinter. You'll be asked to cuddle, walk, or feed specific kibble at regular intervals during maturation.
The Lightning Dimorphodon, a flying, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended, is a common sight across multiple maps. Classified under the Variant group.
Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the Lightning Dimorphodon brings decent hitting power to the table. With 125 base Health, the Lightning Dimorphodon is extremely fragile. Stamina sits at 150 base, providing decent staying power. Weight capacity starts at 50, giving it not built for hauling.
The Lightning Dimorphodon cannot be tamed and must be dealt with through combat or avoidance. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 35°C and 38°C. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.28 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
