Lava Elemental is a land-based minerals in ARK: Survival Ascended, roams the ARK as a wild, untamable creature. Lava Elemental cannot be tamed through conventional methods and is encountered with 60,000 base Health - one of the toughest creatures in the game. Lava Elemental cannot be bred and remains a wild-only or single-instance creature for those who tame one. Its harvest profile centers on Crystal, Stone, Obsidian and additional resources, making farming runs noticeably faster. That combination of survivability and damage is why Lava Elemental sits on most endgame mount shortlists.
