Use the raising calculator to plan food requirements for raising Flovis babies through all three growth stages. Budget ~292 minutes for the Baby phase - this is when hand-feeding or Maewing nursing is mandatory.
Adjust the dino count to calculate food for multiple Flovis babies at once - essential for batch breeding operations. Consider food spoilage when choosing what to feed: Kibble lasts days, while Raw Meat spoils in minutes.

During the Baby phase (0-10%), you must hand-feed or use a Maewing to nurse. From Juvenile (10%+), dinos can eat from a Feeding Trough on their own. Use Preserving Salt in troughs to double spoil times.
Breeding produces live offspring - no egg management needed. Gestation takes approximately 4 hours and 12 minutes at default rates.
Full maturation from baby to adult takes ~2 days (1x rate), progressing slowly. During the baby phase (0–10%), hand-feed it directly. From 10% onward (juvenile), it can eat from a Feeding Trough.
Offspring inherit parental stats and have a small chance to mutate, gaining +2 levels in a random stat. Use the breeding calculator to plan food requirements, incubation timers, and maturation phases.
Raising a baby Flovis involves three maturation phases: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~292 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~19h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~24h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.
Imprinting during maturation provides permanent stat bonuses. At 100% imprint, the Flovis gains 30% bonus damage and resistance when ridden by the imprinter. You'll be asked to cuddle, walk, or feed specific kibble at regular intervals during maturation.
Found throughout the ARKs, the Flovis is a herbivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended.
Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the Flovis brings respectable melee power to the table. At 100 base HP, the Flovis is extremely fragile. Stamina sits at 100 base, providing tires quickly.
The Flovis cannot be tamed and must be dealt with through combat or avoidance. Breeding is via live birth rather than eggs, simplifying the process. Defeating one in the wild grants 1 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.79 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
