Equus
To tame an Equus, feed it once and then quickly mount it. Whenever prompted, press the action button to feed it again.
Unlike knockout tames, the Equus must be fed by hand while conscious. Approach slowly and avoid sudden movements.

Use the feeding timer to know when the Equus will accept its next meal. No more guessing between feeds.

The Equus, a tamable, herbivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended, is a common sight across multiple maps. It falls within the Breeding classification.
Its base Stamina of 560 gives it solid stamina reserves. Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the Equus brings decent hitting power to the table. At 240 base HP, the Equus is relatively fragile. Weight capacity starts at 350, giving it generous inventory space.
The Equus is passively tamed - approach it carefully and feed it by hand without knocking it out. Its preferred food is Rockarrot.
Once tamed, the Equus is valued for its harvesting efficiency, collecting key resources faster than most tools. Breeding is via live birth rather than eggs, simplifying the process. A wild Equus is worth 1 base experience when killed. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.44 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
