Overview
The Ember Crystal Wyvern is a large flying carnivore variant. It is tamed passively by feeding it Primal Crystal or Crystal. This wyvern excels at gathering a wide range of plant-based resources and wood while ridden. It can be airlifted by Quetzal or Karkinos for fast deployment.
Use it to harvest berries, seeds, fiber, and rare flora quickly from the air or ground.
Spawn Locations
Ember Crystal Wyvern does not currently spawn on any ARK: Survival Ascended map, or spawn data is not yet available.
Taming
Taming is done passively by feeding the Ember Crystal Wyvern. Offer Primal Crystal directly to the creature to begin taming. Crystal also works but provides significantly less affinity. No knockout or immobilization is required. The process takes about 5 minutes with Primal Crystal. Around 81 Narcotics are needed to maintain torpor at higher levels. Gathering Abilities
While ridden, the Ember Crystal Wyvern gathers using its Wing attack. It harvests berries, seeds, fiber, mushrooms, rare flowers, sap, and wood. Resources like Mejoberry, Narcoberry, Stimberry, Rare Flower, and Wood are gathered at 10× efficiency. Cactus Sap and Fiber are gathered at 8× efficiency.
Damage Resistances
The Ember Crystal Wyvern has a +200% weakness to spike walls, making them extremely effective in defense. It takes -100% damage from flamethrowers and all fire-based projectiles, rendering them ineffective. Avoid using flame-based weapons. Level Health and Melee Damage.
