Dreadnoughtus Egg & Breeding Calculator

Breeding the Dreadnoughtus produces fertilized eggs that require careful temperature control. Incubation temperature must stay between 40°C and 42°C - use Air Conditioners, Standing Torches, or Dimetrodons to maintain the range. At the correct temperature, the egg hatches in approximately 4 hours and 59 minutes.

After hatching or birth, the baby Dreadnoughtus matures over many real-world days, demanding serious time investment, reaching adulthood in about 7 days and 17 hours at 1x maturation. The most labor-intensive part is the baby phase (0–10% maturation) when it can't use a Feeding Trough yet.

Offspring inherit parental stats and have a small chance to mutate, gaining +2 levels in a random stat. Use the breeding calculator to plan food requirements, incubation timers, and maturation phases.

The dinosaur reaches the juvenile stage, where it can now eat from a feeding trough, reducing the need for direct feeding.

The dinosaur reaches the adolescent stage, becoming more independent and able to follow you while continuing to grow toward full maturity.

The Dreadnoughtus's growth progresses through three stages: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~1111 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~74h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~93h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.

Imprint bonuses are significant: a fully imprinted Dreadnoughtus gains 30% extra damage and damage resistance with its imprinter mounted. Imprint requests include cuddling, walks, and specific kibble - check the wiki for which kibble to stockpile.

Use the raising calculator to plan food requirements for raising Dreadnoughtus babies through all three growth stages. The Baby phase (0–10%) takes ~1111 minutes and is the most hands-on, requiring direct feeding or a Maewing.

The multiplier feature helps plan large-scale Dreadnoughtus raises by totaling food across all babies. Consider food spoilage when choosing what to feed: Kibble lasts days, while Raw Meat spoils in minutes.

During the Baby phase (0-10%), you must hand-feed or use a Maewing to nurse. From Juvenile (10%+), dinos can eat from a Feeding Trough on their own. Use Preserving Salt in troughs to double spoil times.

The Dreadnoughtus, a tamable, herbivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended, is well-known across multiple maps. Classified under the Soaker group.

The Dreadnoughtus has 100,000 base Health - one of the toughest creatures in the game. With 100% base Melee Damage, the Dreadnoughtus has respectable melee power. Stamina sits at 300 base, providing average stamina. Weight capacity starts at 3000, giving it massive inventory space.

As a tame, the Dreadnoughtus combines solid harvesting capability with generous carrying capacity. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 40°C and 42°C. Killing a wild Dreadnoughtus yields 22 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.99 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
