The raising calculator above shows exactly how much food you need for each maturation phase of the Dragon. Expect ~556 minutes of active care during the Baby phase before it graduates to trough-feeding as a Juvenile.
The multiplier feature helps plan large-scale Dragon raises by totaling food across all babies. Different food types have different spoil timers - factor that into which food you stockpile.

During the Baby phase (0-10%), you must hand-feed or use a Maewing to nurse. From Juvenile (10%+), dinos can eat from a Feeding Trough on their own. Use Preserving Salt in troughs to double spoil times.
The baby Dragon takes approximately 3 days and 20 hours to fully mature at default rates - over an extremely long period, one of the longest in the game. The most labor-intensive part is the baby phase (0–10% maturation) when it can't use a Feeding Trough yet.
Each baby inherits stats from both parents with a chance of mutation - +2 wild levels to a random stat plus a color change. Use the breeding calculator to plan food requirements, incubation timers, and maturation phases.
The Dragon's growth progresses through three stages: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~556 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~37h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~46h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.
Imprint bonuses are significant: a fully imprinted Dragon gains 30% extra damage and damage resistance with its imprinter mounted. Imprint requests include cuddling, walks, and specific kibble - check the wiki for which kibble to stockpile.
The Dragon is a boss creature in ARK: Survival Ascended that must be fought in a dedicated arena. It falls within the Variant classification.
With 20,000 base Health, the Dragon is an absolute bullet sponge. Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the Dragon brings decent hitting power to the table. Stamina sits at 400 base, providing solid stamina reserves. It carries 3000 base Weight - excellent carrying capacity.
After taming, the Dragon is a fearsome boss that requires serious preparation and a strong army of tames to defeat. A wild Dragon is worth 3000 base experience when killed. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0 Element plus 0 Element per level.
