Climber
Calculate expected resource yield per node for any dino. Select a node type and harvester.
Dinopithecus doesn't harvest resource nodes like rocks, trees or metal.
Check the corpse yields below to see what it gathers from creature corpses.
Compare dino harvest yields from creature corpses. Select a corpse and up to 3 harvesters to compare.
Each hit on a corpse generates resource drops based on damage dealt. The game randomly picks a resource from the corpse's loot table for each drop. Higher melee depletes the corpse faster, which can reduce total drops. All dinos get the same resource distribution from a given corpse - the difference is total drops from base damage.
Found throughout the ARKs, the Dinopithecus is a tamable, omnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. Classified under the Climber group.
Starting at 775 Health, it's quite durable. With 100% base Melee Damage, the Dinopithecus has decent hitting power. Stamina sits at 800 base, providing outstanding staying power. It carries 350 base Weight - a solid weight pool.
After taming, the Dinopithecus earns its keep through resource gathering, making tedious farming runs much faster. Defeating one in the wild grants 3 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.68 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
