In ARK: Survival Ascended, Dimorphodon occupies the aerial scout niche - is commonly used for scouting and quick travel between locations. It is a carnivore tamed through knockout taming, with Raw Mutton as its top-tier food, and brings 100% base Melee Damage, giving it decent hitting power to the table. Breeding pairs lay fertilized eggs requiring 35°C–38°C incubation, after which juveniles reach adulthood requiring significant patience. Once tamed it harvests Hide, Raw Meat more efficiently than most player tools. Players target Dimorphodon once they need a reliable workhorse beyond the starter mounts.
