Overview

The Concavenator is a carnivorous medium-sized dinosaur with a damage-focused role. It possesses the ability to be carried by larger creatures, enabling strategic aerial deployment. This makes it useful for fast, mobile combat operations where positioning is key.

It can be airlifted by Tusoteuthis for rapid transport across vast distances.

Concavenator must be knocked out before taming. Use a Concavenator to immobilize it with a Chain Bola, Bear Trap, or Large Bear Trap. Tranquilizer ammunition from a Bow, Crossbow, or Fabricated Sniper Rifle works effectively for sedation.

Superior Kibble is the best food for taming. Raw Mutton also works well. The process takes about 27 minutes with Superior Kibble at level 150. No Narcotics are needed. Use the calculator below for your settings.

Drops & Harvest Resources

Killing a Concavenator yields Hide, Raw Meat, Raw Prime Meat, and Keratin. The Hatchet harvests the most Hide and Keratin, while the Pick maximizes Raw Meat and Raw Prime Meat yield.

Estimates based on game-extracted data (weights, quantities, harvest multipliers, damage type chains). Each harvest event independently rolls each resource - higher weight = higher drop chance. Actual yields vary with RNG.

Damage Resistances

Concavenator has a strong vulnerability to SpikeWall attacks, taking +200% more damage. This makes spike walls extremely effective when defending against it. It resists MiningDrill Harvest completely, taking no damage from mining drills. Focus on high-impact melee or explosive damage types for optimal effectiveness.
